I've been waiting to get mine til they get all this shite sorted out and they apparently still haven't. I've been reading stuff from people who have gotten their systems in the past couple months and they turn into bricks. It's amazing that M$ can get away with such shoddy business practices.
What sucks the most is I want one really bad for Halo 3 and Ace Combat 6 and Armored Core 4, among others. But I can't bring myself to spend the money if my system will explode after a month or so. y'know?

Also, knock on wood, my system has been running fine and I have had that thing since it came out. I guess it's all in the cards. I am sure mine will brick dick sometime in the future but I am hoping it holds out until they have to send me one back with HDMI
