Remember 9/11.
i was taking a dump when my dad started yelling at me through the bathroom door "the WTC collapsed!"
that vid on youtube is pretty scary. you really see the speed and scope of the impact.
like rebeld and others have said, while tragic, these things have been happening around the world for ages, and will continue to happen. we can only apreciate our lives and not take what we have for granted.

Did you stand down wind from the WTC at Stevens Intitute of Technology later on that night watching what used to be two towers reduced to an astronomicaly huge cloud of dust and debris? Did you watch the silent procession of emergency vehicle after emergency vehicle make their way up and down the West Side Highway? Did you try and fail to find the words to comfort a complete stranger who was watching exactly what you were, and kept asking you over and over.. "What do we do now?"
It's the same thing year after year after year. There's more constructive and healthy ways to remember the dead.
And this is a forum.. I'll go in and out of whatever thread I please and post my opinion as I like. Everyone else does here.

i agree with you, its been 6 years, every year is the same thing over and over. i mean its a harsh reality but people need to move on. i went to school right next to city hall (2 blocks away from wtc), i been working in a building next to what is now finally wtc 7 right now for the last 3 years and well i think they should have started building shit sooner.

My friend went there around that time. I used to go into the city and we'd walk around Lower Manahattan at all early hours of the morning at least 1-2 times a week. Ground Zero and the church nearby ( I forget the name, but it's the old one, the one that had all the signs and memorials ) were on our regular route.
Pace?

that church actually kinda creeps me out. first its really old second it had all the memorial stuff from 9/11 and third its got a graveyard that tourists walk through every day.
