we've never had a problem before... they spent $175 repairing the microwave, and fixed the oven twice + something else.

shut the valve off
get a hose and drain it.

we shut the water off at the heater.. but its not leaking from a valve as far as i can see. it's leaking from somewhere directly under the heater, to access the area they will have to remove/uninstall the heater and off the platform. Im guessing the location of the problem deems it toast

not sure though

sounds like its rotted out and you're going to have to replace the water heater.

Just JB weld some plate steel onto the bottom. Problem solved.
