Default The numbers are in

Well it seems my butt dyno is on the fritz h:

Anyways the numbers could be higher but I am at the very limits of my injectors. The plan now is to get some Eagle Talon injectors so the car can be tuned more aggressivley.

Keep in mind these numbers are for pump gas (92 octane) and the next tuning and test will be on 104 race fuel with the new injectors.

191.66 hp
153.63 tq

Although it is lower than I expected I got a tuning increase of about 20hp and about 20tq. Also even though the numbers seem low it does propel the car at nearly 100 in the 1/4

Once the new injectors are in and the race fuel is also in we are expecting about 230 give or take but it's tough to guess since there are many variables that can play in. I would scan the sheet but I forgot to grab it before I left, I will make sure to get a copy next time I am in town though.

I'm disappointed... won't the type-s nearly dyno that stock?

:edit:
I guess I'll wait to see what you hit with new injectors and the right fuel.

There is a difference though since factory numbers are at flywheel and not at the wheels. So considering the leakdown in power I am not horribly upset at the numbers.

But yeah once the injectors and race fuel are in the numbers will change considerably.

I'd expect the stock type-s running at 220 horse would dyno somewhere around 190

I don't get what your point is here

Ok the Type S has greater power from a newer engine platform at the flywheel than mine is putting out at the wheel. I don't see how that is anywhere near relevant here??

I have a 98 Prelude motor putting out the power into a car that once stripped will weigh in at about 2000 lbs which gives me an HP to weight ratio of about 1hp per 10 lbs which is where the numbers really count.

So whats the Type S weigh again? maybe 3800+

I'd love to see the charts next time around, I think some people forget that N/A power doesn't come cheap from Honda's.

Not at all but I also know that everyone is going to question the numbers so I am throwing all the variables I can think of out there hoping someone can put the pieces together before they ask a stupid question
