I still can't tell what this thing has.

"Multiple video and audio connections allow you to connect HD set top boxes" ... so no HD.

"Integrated ATSC/NTSC TV Tuner" ... ATSC = Advanced Television Systems Committee = HD broadcasting standards.

Either way, I still wouldn't trust a refurbished LCD too.

You have absolutely no idea what went wrong with it before.
dead pixels?
dead screen?
busted input?
broken case?

Also, refurbs do come with cosmetic flaws. Scuffed screens, scratched case, etc ... it's all fair game when buying one of these.

In general, I don't mind purchasing a refurbished item from a store ... but to attempt to return something like this would suck so badly.

Also, to take delivery, you might have to schedule a time with a delivery man. It's so large that this might not travel via UPS or FedEx ... you'll have to see the delivery instructions when you get further into the checkout.

How much is shipping and handling on this?

$34. I'd get the TV for 393 after 10% off coupon.

ATSC usually indicates OTA HD.

I bought my parents the 32 Olevia (New) and it came with ATSC and QAM tuner.. Gets HD without a cable box and OTA just fine and dandy.

Refurbs are iffy though.
