It's not pointless if it's soothing to your mental health. Cheaper than seeing a counselor.

I tend to make the activities something productive and positive. Recently, I got on an eBay kick to fill my time after work. I'm packing boxes, listing auctions, and doing all sorts of crap from 5pm till 10pm.

it's not all profit because I used money to make money ... but there's no way it's a loss.


I guess I fight off work stress with more work.

I'll have to go along with this though. Taking a hobby that you love & enjoy and making money off of it always makes me happy.

walk around the tide pools, usually in the evening, when few people are there. Just kind of walk around and think about shit. Might sound strange, but being there kind of puts me back in check. Seeing the ocean just reminds me that I'm a small part of something huge.

I actually don't know. I tend to let things build up until I'm just stressed to hell and everything gets on my nerves. Then slowly it just dies down. I would drive but a drive in traffic or something doesn't help. I like to go along a road and drive it hard, pushing the turns, but the few roads I have around me, have too much traffic in the day and at night I'm not comfortable with driving at night in my car(Lights and deer)
