Default Help with Printer

We got a new printer today at work, but we can't get it to print an image...it prints though, but there is no image on the paper except for a top line which states page 1 and so on

if its on the network does it have an active IP. If so, does it reflect that on the print server or whatever box is hosting it?

if you using one of those parallel to RJ-45 cables your better off hooking it up to a desktop through the LPT port and host it from there.
