thats an oldskool flathead too

such a waste of a beautiful motor imo


that thing doesnt look too hard to build there in all honesty. the ride would be hellacious rough too. that car is extremely chopped up

They were just building one on one of the car shows on tv....

Not sure why you would consider that a waste of a motor

That car isn't that chopped up considering either he is re-sectioning in the rear portion of hte top or is considering taking the top full off.

All in all they aren't that hard to build. It depends on how traditional you want to go with the car. There is no way in hell I would put MII A-Arms under one or update it with AC, power brakes or power steering.

Solid front axle and quick change rear on a suicide front design and a flathead V8 pushing out about 160hp FTMFW...fuck anyone who puts an SBC into an old rod.

only because i have a love for the flathead and i'd rather see it in a fully restored car as opposed to that thing

we just finished rebuild a flathead v8 for a merc... thing was a fucking TANK!

Meh restoration is cool and all but I can't see myself ever wanting to restore a car when most cars look good customized.

I want a 50-51 Merc sled so badly :drool:

I am thinking of picking up a dodge Meadowbrook with the straight 6 in it and complete for $500 and then also picking up an old GMC 2 ton with dump bed with a stovebolt 6 in it for a pair of fix and flips.
