Its your oil pressure sensor. You'll need a new one. You might have to drain the oil out before pulling it out though not sure. Good luck and have fun ^_^



EDIT: Oh yeah did your low oil pressure light come on?

EDIT: Oh yeah did your oil pressure light come on?
nope no lights which i found really odd... good to know that is what it is, thanks a lot for your help. :cheers: now ill have to call Honda and see how much it is going to set me back.... timing sucks, i just hit a deer with my other car on thursday night and have to pay an insurance deductable :noes:

Look under "CYLINDER BLOCK-OIL PAN" when looking for the sensor. Looks like a $5 part :O

sucks to have to drain all of my brand new oil out over a 5$ part

Wait till you've put 3k on it.

Unless you plan on needing the idiot light to come on.

If that isn't synthetic or at least a blend than enjoy your sludge and the subsequent seal leakage.

No matter what's in there if you've put a little mileage on it you aren't just throwing money way, think of it as babying the engine to change a little early.
