new to mac, suggestions?
To say that Mac's suck, is a completely ignorant statement. Don't get me wrong, I'm a pc person, but OSX, based on BSD unix, is a VERY powerful platform if so desired. In addition, it is very stable, reliable, and it is one hell of a workhorse for graphics and video. Also, it really peeves me when people say how much they hate MACs yet love the Linux variants and their desktop environments...its scary how similar KDE, Gnome and the other well-known DE are to OSX.
well she loves it so far
when she was going through the startup crap the thing took her picture and then showed it on the screen, scared the crap out of her, she had no idea that it had a camera built in :chuckles:
any must have programs for a mac?
how hard is it to setup a windows os on it for dual boot, isnt that pretty common?

I haven't used OpenOffice much, but I will more once school starts up. I need to get used to the auto completing of words.
