With the way they skimp now it's hard to believe that they aren't selling them without earbuds either.
I remember getting my 3G with firewire, a dock connector, a case, earbuds, wall charger, iLink to Firewire adapter and headphone wire control.

I remember that, mine did'nt come with a case though and they should stop coming with those pos earbuds. All the money is in accessories. When I worked at a store people would buy every piece of crap you could get for an ipod.
