There's no federal waiting on handguns or long guns except class 3 stuff. i've never had to wait for anything.

edit: then again, it's not technically a "waiting period" by definition since all you're doing is waiting on a background check and for your tax stamp to arrive

No waiting period here in Colorado. You can walk into a Gander Mountain and walk out with a new pistol in 5 minutes, assuming you pass the background check.

 

Yeah this I knew. Never understood why a law abiding citizen has to wait additional 9 days 23hrs and 59minutes in CA. I guess because one is a law abiding citizen :chuckles:
