Well, my roommate, friend from childhood, decided to sell our house (I rent off him), and I have to be out by this weekend. I can't go back to my parents because they are letting my brothers friends stay there since he doesnt have a home right now, and his dad is in Mississippi. The other place I was going to move into anyway wont be ready until the end of August, but Im gonna try and pull some strings there. I have a friend who lives a while away that I could stay with temporarily, but he is in NY right now. If I was still with my ex, I coulda moved there in a heartbeat...

... we moved into this house 3 months ago and now the greedy bastard says he cant afford it, and he expects to be able to sell it for 20-25k extra.

 

That's a dick move...why would you have to be out by this weekend, he sold the house that quick :eek3:

I dont know why he wants out by this weekend.. I might have to appeal to his father (who co-owns the house) to let me stay until its sold.. but there is no way I can pay the full rent by myself. If they force me out by this weekend then they can forget about getting my share of money for this past months bills.. Ill need that to find a new place.

My other friend and I were taking a road trip to Centralia, PA this weekend, but now it looks like I might have to spend it moving crap into another place.

Yes, I cannot wait to move to Florida and have my own place.. Id do it now, but unfortunetly I have to wait 8-12months before that is possible. I should have saved money since my first job incase something like this happened, but idiot me didn't listen. Well I guess Ill take this as a lesson learned to always have backup funds.

Do you have a rental agreement? Are you on lease? If you atleast have agreement he has to, by law, give you 30 day notice.

 

No, no lease. Maybe now that wouldnt have been such a bad thing to ask for.. I figured it would always give me an out if I needed it. I didnt think my lifelong friend and my ex-boss would do this.
