i know its bullshit to pay 29 for something u know isnt towards anything but i would think its worth it for it not going on your insurance? and getting higher rates?

Luckily the Civic doesn't comfortably go 98mph without doing 4800rpm in top gear. It's a self maintained speed limiter.

same in the accord and the camry...cruisin at 70

I don't recall right now what rpm my civic does at 98 but at 70 it's right about 3000 - I'd feel like I was punishing the car to drive faster for a sustained amount of time.

I drove a '90 Prelude that was at about 3400 doing 65 :chuckles: (just about redline @ 120) Never got picked up for speeding in that or my current car


edit: BTW first time I got pulled over was doing 70 in a 40 - I got off with a warning

I got cought doing 120 in a 50 in NJ they took me in and I had to spend a few hrs in jail plus they impounded the car so I had to take a $80 cab into the city I'm always going to obey the speed limit nowh:
