I didn't pay attention to his location. I was merely stating that it's ludicrous for him to call bs on someone making money DJing when they may be in different markets.

so why call bs on HIM making money? what's that have to do with the fact that you didn't?

- Retail-level Accounting / Customer Service / Lower Management
- 6 1/2 years (current position for 4 years)
- No. (Hours change every week, inconsistent shifts, unreliable help, pay rate sucks, no benefits)
- 18 months. (Enough to pay off my credit card and save more money for tuition.)

Which place? You have talked about a few things...speaking of second jobs...mine last night was HILARIOUS. A lady was arguing about bringing a water from outside into our theatre which has a bar. You can't do that crap in CA.

Well a old co-worker i know works there and she tells me about the many oppurtunities the company provides as well as the many perks. They'll even train me to go over to a new roll in a different dept. if that's how i so choose. It's a Help Desk/MAC associate, fortunately it's not a call center type helpdesk. Just if someone calls i go fix it and that's it which is cool cus my biggest gripe with alot of my old positions was sitting behind the desk all day being bored.

-What kind of work do you do? (IT, Administrative, Customer Service, etc.)
IT (Network Engineer)

-How long have you been working with your current company?
It will be 3 years in December

-Do you like your job?
I enjoy it. My coworkers are awesome. I'm always learning new things. When it's busy, it's cool cuz I get to do stuff and the day goes by fast. When it's not busy, it's kinda cool, cuz I can do what I want. They send me to training once a year, they pay for my cert tests if I pass them. I like it cuz I'm in a real good place to learn alot cuz we pretty much buy the latest and greatest of equipment.

-How long do you plan on staying with the company?
I will start looking for a new job in another year if I dont get another promotion. If I do get a promotion, then I will start looking a few years after that.
