Got some of my tools...
Yeah I'm a tech at Fletcher Jones Mercedes in Newport Beach. Craftsman is good enough for small jobs here or there but once you start using it everyday it's different. I know everyone says stuff like it's overpriced or whatever but you'll see that in the field we are in we need good quality reliable tools. I've seen Craftsman punches look like needles after a while. That's why I plan on either going with Matco or Snap-On for most of my tools I use on a regular basis.
snap-on is overpriced ... 90% of their tools are imported. when i was on the road for my company my biggest shop was owned by a snap-on dealer and him and i became good friends. believe me, you are getting nothing special with snap-on tools but a name. they break just as easily as most the other brands out there. i've broken plenty of snap-on tools doing jobs they should not have broken on.
sk > snap-on & matco
not trying to knock your set cuz that chest does look mighty fine and snap-on does have a lot of nifty lil specialty tools though
