Like everyone said just run it down to the light before you fill up. There's no point in buyin g gas if you still have 3/4 of a tank left

on a related note... I just found out that my fuel light on my 94 accord went out... I ran my tank super low, expecting for the fuel light to kick in. I got it reallllllly low and just said fuck it, and filled it up. ~16.5gal (out of 17). It used to work.

Did a LED just die or something?

it will come on after 17 gallons. pretty sure its a small reserve of about 2 gallons left after that.
