Anyone have a laser printer @ home?
Do you like it? Is the cost of toner a bitch? How long does it last? (toner cart that is)
Work is had an employee clearance sale. I picked one up (HP 1600, $100) but am now double thinking it. :run:

i had a hp 4L.... that 2.2ppm beast lasted 10 years before it crapped out.

I have an HP 1012 also and haven't replaced the cartridge since I got it well over a year ago.
Then again I don't do much printing at all. It's just there if I need a hard copy of something. If not, I save everything as a PDF and file and backup everything.

sell it on ebay or something. Laser printers are as cool as dial up modems..probably about as modern and efficient too.
