Anyone have a laser printer @ home?
i have one, dell 3100cn. its the size of a mini fridge. i used to use it a lot for work but now it just collects dust.
i use my little dell inkjet instead cause i bought an almost unlimited supply of refil ink on ebay.

My parents also had an ancient Laserjet 4L that only very recently crapped out on them.
Still hard to beat a laser for quality text and grayscale graphics on plain paper.
For photos though a good inkjet with proper photo paper will smote any laser.

Ditto. HP 1012, toner cartridge about $30 on eBay. Lasts two years depending on usage. I probably print 10 pages/week or so.
I've got a Samsung ML-2010 (I think). Bought it in January, haven't had to replace the toner yet. But I don't do a whole lot of printing. Compared to the inkjets I've had, it prints a lot faster, is quieter, and hopefully won't chew through ink the way all the inkjets I've owned did. All I do is grayscale/text, and I'm very happy with the purchase.
Much better than the Epson C66 it was replacing. That printer actually had a damn class-action lawsuit against it because it was so shitty.
