Will the lock cylinder turn?

In the morning, I sure will. This sucks.
No.
I looked inside the lock, and some of the little balls aren't there like they used to be. There's no familiar resistance either. It's like it just decided to fail.

My first suggestion would be to wedge an enormous crowbar between the short c-channel arm and the section of frame that forms the base of the lock... and give it hell.
Since the lock rod itself is made from hardened steel, I'm not convinced that a pneumatic cutting wheel will work.
Not to pry, but was there any sign that the lock was dying?
I'm kinda nervous about being trapped in a similar situation.

h:I'm not convinced that pneumatic will do the job either, but I'm going to give that a shot. The tow guy wants $100 and I don't feel like bending over right now.
Not prying at all. It never really felt like it was going. It went from working fine, to fail. I even tried using the other keys. I've had it for almost 3 years. I got it off of ebay (brand-new), and it seemed legit. I don't think I'll get one again from ebay, because my heart feels that the person selling it got some sort of "B" stock.

Good luck, then.. and give it hell.

So, my neighbor comes over with his drill to drill out the lock. You know the neighbor that tells you that what you're doing, "ain't shit" and his tools and knowhow will get it done.
After 5min. of drilling the lock, the autolock vibrates itself down 4 notches to allow it to slip off like a prom dress.
Thanks for the stress, Autolock
