my dad has a BB pistol that will shatter a snapple bottle from like 25 feet away...its really old and doesn't take average size BB's

I keep a Glock 22 loaded in a holster about 3 steps from the bed. I want it to be out of arms reach from where I sleep because I know how off I am when I first wake up and wouldn't want to have any "accidents."

The shotgun is probably a better choice for home defense, but I live in a relatively small apartment with tight doorways, narrow hallways, and a maximum distance from wall to wall of maybe 20 feet. I've tried room clearing with my Roommates Remington 870 and it's way too big to swing around effectively in our tight spaces. Of course, a shotty with collapsible stock and short barrel would be less bulky, but even my 16" AR-15 with collapsible stock still leaves me running into bookcases and walls if I try to move around with it, so the Glock it is for now.

 

If I were to break into your house and you shot me with a paintball gun I would walk over and grab that gun and beat you to a bloddy fucking pile of mush with the paintball gun then shit on your remains.

Seriously that would escalate the situation to a seriously dangerous level with no real force behind the threat on your end.

on another note. i do have a bottle of citrus spray made from lemons and limes. not really intended for home security but for when i jog in the mournings an my neighbors dont put fence in their yards, and their dogs chase me.

i was chased for about .5 miles bye a lab/Shepard mix.

so i bought citrus spray for those muddafeckers

 

High stress situation you aint gonna hit shit enough to worry me since with paintball you teach yourself to hit mass as oposed to head shots due to the inaccuracy of the weapon at play range.

Again..I would beat you to a bloody mess with that thing if you shot me with it.

Ever been sprayed with pepper spray? Not much you can compare it too and if you have felt it then you would realize most other items aside from mace only cause an irritation in comparison.

I honestly don't understand why a person would even take the slightest chance with the protection of their life or the protection of their families lives by trying to go cheap with things like this. It's just fucking stupid and as I said before it will only serve to escalate the situation exponentially.

Do it once and do it right, take no risks with your life or your families...the belongings honestly mean nothing if you lose the lives of your family.
