new computer, buy or build or fix???

if you took out the video card of course it will say no monitor signal
try another video card or using the video card in another system before spending money needlessly

Yeah, at least attempt to fix it. If its an older computer and you have trouble finding the parts cheaply, compare the prices to building a new one.

u sure you werent high and connected the AGP video card into the PCI slot?
