Default Photographers...What software

Without going into Photoshop CS3 Suite...

I would like your opinions on different photo editting software that you use, I don't feel like spending the money for the whole Adobe CS3 system.

At work, I correct maybe 1000 images a a day, so we use a high volume program called Workstream. We've just started playing with lightroom, and it looks really good so far for sorting and individual shots.

Min requirements:

seriously oldman , photoshop. you should be able to pick cs2 up legally for 300 i think or less

or find it online for "less"

PS7 or CS are the only ones I would honestly recommend.

For free you could try the GIMP which is really good as well.

Seconded on GIMP for people who want to legitimately pay nothing for their image editing software.

Myself I use a surreptitiously acquired copy of CS2.
