I think all of Subaru is the gay car of choice. They're big supporters...
I just like dirt roads too much for my past of Honda's to fully support. And I'm not a fan of bigger big big big AWD cars... so...Scooby will probably be ny next choice when I'm ready to purchase a new car

Yes.

I have a friend that works at a dealership who is going to see about some financing. They have a 99 CRV & a 00 G20 there. :x:

Why buy a new head when a heli-coil can replace the stripped threads for a 1/4 the cost?

I had the same thing happen to me on the GTi shortly after I bought it.
Two hours and $60 later I was back on the road.

The head never came off... and the motor ran like a champ for another 90,000 miles until I blew it to hell by my own stupidity. h:

Everyone I'm talking to says the head needs to come off. Don't get me wrong, if the head has to come off anyway, I won't buy one until I know the thread can't be fixed. I'm going to see if I can get my friend to come look and see if it can be done with the head on the car. obviously it depends on how bad the thread is.
