If you camp a lot...
and I do
I just picked one of these up last week and it kicks much ass.

Since I have been slimming down what is carried with me on camping trips it works out great. I usually bring dehydrated food packs with me so I boil up some water and dinner is served. Of course I have to have my coffee so I got the coffee press kit with it. It also does fine if you put a small pan on it and want to cook that way.
takes up minimal space and is barely noticeable as far as weight goes. I paid $89 for mine and I would say it was well worth it to me.

if i didnt already have a msr whisperlite international then i would look into getting a jetboil
but my msr will run on just about anything flammable that i can put in a bottle and its already paid for
it also is a pain in the ass to fold up and hold a pot on unlevel ground
cant wait for backpacking season to start once school is out and i am jobless

I suppose burning anything you could come with what works best at your working altitude though.

being able to pick your fuel type is pretty cool
high elevations you can use certain fuel that wont solidify and lower ones you can burn anything you want
there are also kits to buy that allow different types of canisters to attach, so it can be pressurized or just a bottle
i havent ever had it above probably 3500 ft, but my brother took it to colorado and took it onto 7000+ no problem at all running white gas
the shitty part is its a little tripod stand kind of setup, so unlevel ground blows, and it takes a little know how to get it going and burn consistently
the most recent time it was used was at the 3 day DMB concert, where my friends had an rv, but we used my little stove since it was way easier
beerbrats with that thing and costco brats and beast ice beer were amazing, and only took like 3 minutes to cook

it will back in use when i do the rogue river trail again in a few months, then possibly a 4 day sisters area hike at the end of summer, not sure exactly where yet though
