foound one.

Video ActiveX Access is a virus.

safe mode, run hijackthis, look through the list and check off every line that says Video ActiveX Access. and then Fix.

Thanx guys, I got rid of the toolbars and the hacked home page... everything is back to normal as far as I can tell. I'll run hijack in safe mode and run avast again in safe. Thanx a lot

Just run Firefox and quit using IE and run Thunderbird if you use outlook.

100x more secure, tabs, extensions, faster, lack of ActiveX... want me to keep going?
