Ah yes, this shit is always awesome.



I went to Brennan's (have to include the obligatory plug, love that place) and picked me up some beautiful fresh roma tomatoes, some fresh basil, and fresh mozzarella.

Slice 'n dice, a bit of salt & pepper here, a little first cold pressing extra virgin olive oil there, a drizzle of 18 year-old balsamic vinegar (between the tomatoes and basil) and oh man I am in heaven.

 

Love it man. I usually go a little bit lighter on the basil... maybe half leaves but yea thats an awesome little meal.

 

Mmmmm. Got my salivary glands going thinking about them. lol

Withought reading the description, I thought it was like a soft-boiled eggs benedict or something. The one at 9 o'clock looks like it has yolk running from it
