I've had the displeasure of driving along the western portion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, the part that goes from the Ohio border til I-70 splits off in Breezewood. It really sucks going on those mountain passes completely surrounded by semi trucks trying to pass each other.

Yeah, but some of the backroads that are in decent shape have some nice switchbacks with some wicked curves. Lots of fun on them if they're empty.
