90% of the folder is common... the rest is the version specific stuff(pro, mce, etc)

its not like vista where you can use the same i386 folder to install any version.

think the only difference in oem & retail is the support......retail is supported by microsoft & oem is supported by the oem (ie dell, hp, etc)

so if you buy an oem version off ebay (that by the rules must come w/ some type of hardware, so it's usually something cheap like a fan or such) then you in reality have no technical support since then oem was the person who "bundled" the software & hardware

every version i have used was an oem bundle off of ebay...never had a problem
