Yeah it sucks, and with the media hyping $4.00 a gallon, you can expect the oil companies to make it come true even if they didn't have to charge that much.

the oil companies are trying to get the US culture use to increasing gas prices. It's disgusting that we consider gas "cheap" @ $2.30 a gallon. I remember when prices broke the $2 barrier and people had a shit fit.

It still blows my mind that prices change on a constant basis. And not a slight change, an ass raping change. This shit is fucking ridiculous and we as a society fucking sit here and take it. I mean, I cant get to work on a bicycle but isnt it just pure irony that the price per barrel is the same as it was a year ago, however gas is nearly a dollar more a gallon? Fucking bullshit.

Damn, I'm really becoming interested in alternative sources of fuel. Either that or just move to the Middle East where it's like 0.17 / gallon
