when the NFL's regular season ends, the best teams make it into the playoffs. They're seeded appropriately. Then the standings are reversed, and that's how you get your draft order.

When it's your turn to pick, you weigh your needs vs the talent available. The higher the pick, the more money is involved.

Picks are so valuable that Oakland gave up Randy Moss for the Patriots' 4th round selection, number 1XX overall.

I'm not a big college guy so I have no idea what Quinn's talent level is. Why did he get passed on? I was hearing top 3 in the draft and he went 22nd. Did he fuck up at the combine or what? Why'd his stock drop so much? He's still going to get paid...

drafts remind me of whore houses.

Anyway, maybe the teams conspired to pick him late so that they could get him cheap, or they had a bet, or maybe they are masochists and feel that they don't need good players to win.
