going camping v.what to bring

here we go:
tent check
sleeping bag dont have, but i have three blankets and a pillow to wrap myself in
cooler with ice, lunch meat, bread, styrofoam cups & plates, hot dogs, maybe some rice & chicken or something. whatever you want to eat. check. no rice, but i marinted some chicken cut up in spedie sauce for two days :yumyum:
5 gallon jug of water i got two, but its a state park, there is water
travel stove decided against my grill, figured we'd just use the fire.

rope no rope
lighter of course
flashlight and/or lantern plenty
toilet paper yup
fishing pole and tackle if you plan to fish got it all and im planning

if they don't have public restrooms there, get a 5 gallon bucket and lid and cut a hole in the lid and bring some trash bags. throw a bag in the bucket, shit, then pull it out and tie the bag off and throw it in another bag and tie that.
alos, for 6-7 people i'd probably bring 2 5 gallon jugs of water.

i was thinkin about it last week and i would love to just get in my car with a tent and some food, drive somewhere and walk into the woods.
i dont know how i feel about walking onto someone's property and having them wake me up with a gun in my face though.
best camping trip i had was with my dad. canoed down a river, hiked up a mountain, back down, spent two nights. he used to go camping all the time with his parents, he'd think im doin pussy shit too
