you're taking this 'wegmans is too expensive' thing too far. its not that bad.

I definitely like "step-up" grocery stores.

The place closest to me is your typical generic middle of the road cookie cutter regional chain grocery store. For just stocking up on whatever, I go there since it's like a 1/2 mile from my house. Mostly for packaged stuff...whatever it's good enough.

When I'm shopping for something I'll actually be cooking I hit up one of the nicer places. If it's been a while, when I get there I genuinely feel as if I've been missing out on something by going to the place close to home.
