Got a call from Suburban Honda today at 4:45, salesman asked me if I was busy because he needed to talk to me about my financing so I told him I'd stop down in 20 when I got out of work.
Get down there and he told me that the finance girl got me super-approved for Honda Finance and my APR is going from 10.3% to 5.9% :yay:
Of course they need to make up that money, so included in the "package" is the 100k bumper to bumper warranty (up from the standard 12mo/12k mi).
So I go from $274/mo to $269/mo and get an extra 18,000 miles of warranty :yay:

I've been driving it since Friday dude
Got onto 23 today, launched at 3.5K RPM in first and spun the tires going into 2nd for a solid 2 seconds.
You, Lee and I should have a mini-meat between Lansing and Farmington when he finally gets his coche running.

They could have offered you the 5.9% from the start. They just said that to get you in to buy the car and the warranty you could have said no thanks to and gotten it from a credit union for cheaper.
I have learned that the dealership "deals" are not deals at all. They are saying they are saving you money when in fact...they are still making money off you.
Glad you got a car though.

It's a business, they have to make money somehow. It took a lot of work on their end to get me super approved, seeing as how I'm 20 and have very little credit history. I called credit unions and banks and the best I got was 9.5%.
I bought the car a week ago retard. The 5.9% financing is a brand new deal that Honda just came out with on Wednesday. Thus it was impossible to get the 5.9 when I signed the papers on Monday. They didn't have to give me shit, I had already signed the papers. What's wrong with $5/month less and an extra 18k of warranty when I was expecting nothing?

Sorry I don't follow your life to the day and knew you bought it a week ago.
