The logic is this. It's bad enough that I am about to have a kid while I am still going to school full time and I don't have a sufficient income, my fault or not. Getting married isn't going to make anything better. I'm not looking for pity. You're just not understanding the fact that this was unintentional.

fuck the haters, you accidently got your girl prego and you are doing the right thing by trying to help raise the kid. only you and the girl know if getting married might work.
Yeah, she got pregnant by mistake and told me I had no say what happens. She told me I could either raise the kid with or without her. So I manned up and I am staying with her... But still, it's not like I had many options. I don't want to go through this discussion again please.

Are you and your wife going to get a divorce? Is it fairly safe to assume you married under loving terms? If so, how and why'd it go sour and why are you still in it if you don't like her? Seems like a waste for both of you. Jail for adultry??????
