Well my dad is about 5'8" 340


He brought it on himself, i keep telling him to lose weight but he doesn't listen to me...so now it looks like he will

He told me he was at the hospital yesterday for 5 hours because they couldn't get his blood pressure down

I think they hook you up, then have you run/walk on a treadmill and see what happens..I also belive they do some ultra-sound stuff

oh then thats probably the same thing, my dad had like a mask on to measure his air intake and stuff... the ultra sound is common procedure its called an echocardiogram.

I've done one of those.
I have chest pains sometimes. When I was younger I had them more frequently. They still don't know what it is.

I had to do a stress test, I was having off and on chest pains, actually it just hurt to breathe. They found something on the stress test and was in for a Cadiac Catheterization a couple of weeks later and they had to do a Quadruple bypass on me. I was 90% blocked. The surgeon was amazed that I had survived the stress test, and that I came through it without any real problems. I had been walking and climbing stairs the whole time, and even used the snowblower a couple of times. After the bypass I was in the hospital for a week. I got out of bed and was moving around on my own after 3 days. When I went home I wasn't allowed to drive for a month.

BTW I was 56 when I went through the bypass surgery.
