I had to do a stress test, I was having off and on chest pains, actually it just hurt to breathe. They found something on the stress test and was in for a Cadiac Catheterization a couple of weeks later and they had to do a Quadruple bypass on me. I was 90% blocked. The surgeon was amazed that I had survived the stress test, and that I came through it without any real problems. I had been walking and climbing stairs the whole time, and even used the snowblower a couple of times. After the bypass I was in the hospital for a week. I got out of bed and was moving around on my own after 3 days. When I went home I wasn't allowed to drive for a month.

BTW I was 56 when I went through the bypass surgery.
