The switch on the drivers side goes through the multiplexing unit within the door. Do your rear windows work from the drivers door? A bad ground could cause this issue.
rear works from it's side controller, but no passenger rear control from driver's side

any way to "reset" multi-plexer??

your relay might be going out. i had a similar but not similar problem with my 240sx. there was a relay attached to the starter, when it was going out it i couldnt start the car, but sometimes it worked, it was weird. a trick was to bang the relay against something hard and it started working again. so i hit my relay with the back side of a screwdriver and it magically started working again until i could get a replacement.

when my car was in the body shop i got a similar problem i think it came from taking the door panel off to take off the outside trim. a loose connection. ive not gotten it fixed. same issue. the pass window works fine with pass side door control and it will work when it feels like it on the drivers side control for the pass window. i have to really push up on the button to get the window to go up yet it goes down just fine from the drs side panel. when u find out the cause let us know. ive had the relays replaced but before the body shop got ahold of the car. wont take it back they will mess something else up.

my check engine light came on & i went to auto zone to have that checked w/ a code-checker. the guy told me that when the battery is taken of, the computer has to re-check it several times & then it'll just start working again

low & behold, when i left after having the CEL code checked/reset the door locks & window controls all worked again

:loco: that settles it....my car is DEFINATELY a female :lmfao:
