what about a 3 series bmw? they seem like they can go over 100k miles with no problem.

the B5 Audi's are prone to control arm failure, about $1300 at the dealer, $600-700 yourself,window regulators, and maf's. Other than that they're pretty good.

i know a couple people with the 3 series over 100k miles. they both said the engine still runs pretty strong.
