Pipe tobacco smokers check in here...
Just recently, I decided to switch over to smoking pipe tobacco because cigars were getting too expensive for me. A $6 to $10 per two weeks was beginning to take it's toll on my wallet so I gave the pipe a try. I acquired a broken in Briar pipe from a father of a friend of mine and went to my local smoke shop afterwards. I was given a sample of Peterson Old Dublin tobacco and loved the mild, flavorful smoke I got from it.
My question is, what other pipe tobaccos brands and blends do you guys recommend? Something on the light to medium side with loads of flavor and a favorable room note to be more specific.

I smoked a pipe when I was like 15. I preferred the "midnight special" flavor and also enjoyed some kind of currant (or some kind of berry) flavored tobacco. Didn't smoke a pipe for too long though, just liked the smell.
That one was handed to you.
The order I like: Hookah>>>>>>>Pipe>Cigars
Cigars last so long and they don't have much variation in taste.
Pipe doesn't last as long, but its hard for me to find a nice tasting tobacco.
Hookah is just glorious. Not hot at all. Lots of flavor. No bad smells lingering around for a long time. Huge buzz.
