to be blunt, you and your friend need to join us in the real world. when you do, then ask us real questions and stop wasting our time.
as far as your question goes, if vtec is working properly you should feel nothing. if you feel it kick, then you should adjust it until you feel nothing.
if you feel something, it means there is a power loss over feeling nothing.
