I need to find someone I can trust for an alignment here.

One time when I didn't have the time to install an ABS wheel speed sensor on my old GSR, I took the part to Midas and handed it to them with a printout of the page in the Helms manual on how to change it. Was cheaper than going to an Acura dealer. h:

i spent yesterday getting front brake pads and a left outer tie rod end. today i take it in for an alignment and end up with a pass side upper control arm, balljoint and nail out of the pass front tire.. i dont know how the other shop missed the ball joint and nail. i saw them both. it was a chaching 2 days. they didnt charge me for the tire repair. then i went to sams and got my 6months rotate and balance. hasnt been the best bday. water heater died at 8a this morning after i got home from work no hot water to get the hosp germs off.

Lee, I'll have to try that shop out. I start commuting 4/02. I'll probably be able to throw in a new inner tie rod sometime that week after work.

I never even got the car aligned They did it before they even put it on the lift, hence my complaining. How are they going to align the car correctly when the tie rods have lateral play?

Mike, that's fantastic

did they know the tie rods are shot? sometimes shops take a test drive to see how bad the alignment is.

:werd: When I used to alignments, I would always test drive the car first to see how the steering wheel is or if the car is pulling. Next I would check the suspension. If everything is ok then I make my adjustments and then I test drive the car again to make sure it's perfect. No one ever told me they never wanted me to drive their car.
