where is the fireplace in the wood shop? i missed it.

 

If you look in the first picture in the back right corner where the plywood on the wall is, that is where it goes. Just haven't had time to lay up the stone for the chimney and hearth yet.

It is still on the list, just other things have taken and will take higher priority for now, like the solar kiln and bandmill

 

Added a portable lumber mill to the tool list this weekend. Took about 14 hours on horrible snowy roads to go get in Buffalo, and about 13 hours to put it together. Next on the list is the kiln, and then we will be a full service wood company, from the tree to the finished furniture piece.

This one wasn't bad since we are able to split the cost 3 ways. Plus we bought the trailer package for it as well, so people don't have to bring stuff to us, we can go to them and mill all their lumber on site.
