Serious question...
Have you guys ever thought about starting over? I mean changing your career paths. I am starting to think maybe I should do it. The only thing I am happy about with being engineer is the pay. I think about "what if" almost every day but how do I just forget 6 years of schooling and start over?
or is this topic too mature for you kids?

Actually am debating a major change right now. I am planning in 10 years to sell everything I own and move overseas somewhere. Haven't decided where so still looking into locations.
I figure I will take my camera and my clothes and just do whatever I want any way I want to.

It's hard to just start over. Just the thought terrifies me. During my college process, I just made sure over and over, this is what I wanted to do. When I'm done, stick with it.
Tack on 4 to 6 years to your current age. Without experience nearing 30, it'll be fairly difficult to find employment. After school and life bills accumulating, a change might be more of a bad decision than what you're doing now.
If you want to do it though, go for it. No regrets.

Yep my youngest will be 18 at that point and it will also give me time to decide where I want to land.
Tired of the rat race and bullshit in the US, I wnt a different kind of bullshit in a land with more history to it.
