I should have said 25k cdn which is really 21.5k US. I know nothing about trucks, I figured low end = single cab, mid range = F150, high end = caddy.

I would look at the Toyota Taco or Tundra in that range. Both are excellent trucks with a decent light utility rating.

Maybe the new 2007 tundra but not at 25k
Nissan Titan gets close but lack of support/accessories for work related items like plows/spreaders limits their usefulness too.
Flame away freaks but there is a reason why farmers/ranchers/construction use Ford and GMC
