You hit gay i-VTEC in Accords. The only thing gayer is VTEC-E, which is in the Civic.

i hit VTEC at around 5K so i do it on a daily basis, i try not to hit 9K too often.
P.S: 1/2 a tank of gas goes bye-bye in a day,
