You had mentioned the V50... just an FYI...unless you go for the T5 AWD, you are stuck with a 5spd manumatic transmission.

Are Volvos pretty reliable? Good warranties? Insurance shouldn't be that bad since it's not a rice rocket.

Check JD Power for the V50's reliability...
The S40 has done fairly well.

Also keep in mind that the T5 AWD V50 is going to put you just over $30K MSRP. If you want factory nav, tack on another $2K+.

Getting awful close to G35 Sedan territory by that point. :hsdunno:
