You ride for 15 or so years and you do things.
My first year I was in the trees a lot. End of first year I was in back country all summer and into the second season. Then second season I was dropping 10-15 foot cliffs and running chutes. Third year more back country, 20-30 foot cliffs, steeper chutes and more fun.
Granted I don't ride quite the same as I used to since I have toned it down a bit, but I have taken more than my share of risk including a couple of avalanches. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world...not one second of it.
