:AF: i love boarding... i learned on a old beat up board. took lessons at the resort. getting a proffessional lesson is the quickest and easiest way to learn. sometimes if a friend teaches you its hard for them to explain what to do

i was supposed to take the girl and teach her yesterday but i didnt wake up till late...and just didnt feel like going cuz it was soooo cold.

Went skiing with my parents when I was about 6 and had a shitty experience so I never wanted to try it again.

Taught myself to ride when I was 21 and it just felt natural. By the end of the day I was cutting down blue squares and having a lot of fun.

During my snowboard instructing days I grabbed a pair of skis and went to the bunny hill to try it out a few times but again it didn't grab me in the least and felt as unnatural as anything I had ever done.
