since traffic tickets are issued to the person and not the car it is possible to fight the ticket by argueing that the person driving was not you. i.e. if the picture taken was unclear and the person driving cannot be identified cleary then you can fight the ticket.

They want to put traffic cameras here and someone brought this question up(specially since the cars here dont have front license plates). The authorities said that if you lend your car to someone it is still your responsibility... they also said that if the person to whom you lent the car agrees, the ticket can be reissued to his name and points added to his record.
